Half of the participants will sit down, and the other half will have 4-minutes to introduce themselves, to see if there is chemistry, before moving-on to the next “date.”
Before the event begins, each participant is given a card with the name of each person they’ll be meeting on it. They indicate their level of interest in that person on the card. If both parties indicate that they liked one another, it’s a match! It’s as simple as that!
After the speed dating portion of the evnt, participants will turn in their cards to the host or hostess. Participants are then free to mix, mingle and enjoy themselves and maybe get some extra time with a “date” or get to know the other participants.
The very next day, each participant will receive an e-mail with a list of the participants who would like to get to know them better, along with phone numbers and e-mail addresses!
